Welcome to North of North of 60.

This is an un-official law enforcement related site. I am a Highway Patrol Officer stationed in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories in a one person detachment. As a Highway Patrol Officer I spend about 70% of my time on patrol. My patrol area spans approximately 800 kilometers of road. The roads that I patrol can vary greatly from pavement and gravel, to ice roads and overland seasonal roads. The Headquarters for the Highway Patrol is in Hay River approximately 500 kilometers to the south of Yellowknife.
